What we collect
When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you run a scan we store the scan record: the domain you submitted, the board we resolved, every candidate board we probed and what it answered, the roles we read, and the credit reservation and settlement.
What we don't do
We don't track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We don't sell or share the list of companies you scan, and we don't use your scans to train any model. There is no language model anywhere in this product — every classification here is a deterministic rule.
Your scans are private
There is no public page for a result and no share link. A scan is visible to you when you are signed in, and to API keys you have minted — nobody else. The company you scanned is never told, and no company ever learns who has been reading their board. We keep your scans so that re-reading one later is free; if you would rather they were gone, ask and we will delete them.
What is sent to third parties
To run a scan we fetch the company's own careers pages and the public job-board APIs of Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. Those third parties see a request for a public page, from an identifying user agent, exactly as a browser would make it. They receive the company you asked about and nothing else — never your email, your account, or your Ounie identity. We send no data to a search provider, an advertising network, or a language model, because this product uses none.
Do not put secrets, credentials, or personal data into the domain field. It takes a company domain, and nothing else belongs there.
About the roles we return
Everything returned here is a job posting a company published on its own public board. We store the role title, team, location, posting date and link, and — when you ask for them — the description text as the company wrote it. We do not collect, infer or store information about the individuals who hold or apply for those roles. This is not a people database and has no contact data in it.
We also keep a snapshot of each board we read, so that the next scan of the same company can be diffed against it. Those snapshots are keyed by the board, not by the account that triggered them, and hold only the fields the diff needs — title, team, function, location and link. They contain nothing about you.
Where data lives
Scan records, board snapshots and credit ledger entries are stored in a Neon Postgres database hosted in the US.
Payments
Credit purchases happen on ounie.com, where Stripe processes payment. This product never sees your card number; it only reads and debits your Ounie credit wallet. x402 calls are settled in USDC on-chain and are pseudonymous — we record the paying wallet address and transaction hash, nothing more. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
An x402 scan is stored without an owner, because a keyless caller has no account to attach it to.
Deletion
To delete your account or download your data, open a privacy ticket. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30.
